Provides financial assistance towards the cost of licensed child care programs or licensed home-based care (full or part-time, before and after school, nursery school, etc.).
- Eligibility
- Candidates must adhere to following 3 conditions:
- live in Lanark County or the Town of Smiths Falls
- have a financial need and need access to affordable child care
- have a confirmed spot for child(ren) at a licensed child care in Lanark County
Candidates must adhere to one of the following two conditions:- All adults in household are working or attending school
- A child or adult in my house has been identified by a professional as having a special need
- Application Process
- Before applying for a subsidy, parents must find a licensed child care that best fits their needs
* There may be waiting lists for space at some centres or for some programs
* Once parents find an available space, they should contact the office by phone or by e-mail to begin the application process - Documents Required
