Friendly visiting program
- currently phone-based
- volunteers are matched one-on-one with seniors living in the central Ottawa area and call their match once a week
- Client Connections Program offers monthly or bi-weekly calls from volunteers and student callers
- Eligibility
- Seniors, 55 years and older, and adults with disabilities (18+) who feel isolated, lonely or desire more social contact
Clients must be able to engage in friendly, positive conversation/interactions
Residency Requirements: Ottawa Central: North of the Queensway between Preston St and Blair Rd For postal codes beginning in: K1G, K1K, K1L, K1M, K1N, K1P, K1R, and K2P - Application Process
