Telephone Assurance Program


Description

Regular week day phone calls to check on client health and safety

  • predetermined response (determined with the client) if call is not answered
  • checks are done by trained and screened volunteers
  • calls can also be for social purposes but not medication reminders
Eligibility
Older adults 55 years and older and adults 18 years and older with disabilities who live alone

Residency Requirements: Ottawa Central: North of the Queensway between Preston St and Blair Rd * For postal codes beginning in: K1G, K1K, K1L, K1M, K1N, K1P, K1R, and K2P
