- Psycho-educational program for any adolescent at risk
- supports prevention and early intervention
- substance abuse and related mental health issues
- seeks to increase the ability of at-risk adolescents to implement healthy decision making skills
- based on voluntary participation of adolescents
- preventative parenting group offered through participating schools
- operated in collaboration with local school boards and the Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders Program of the Royal Ottawa Hospital
- Eligibility
- adolescents 12-18 years old
- be at risk or may have begun to experience school, social, family, or legal problems related to substance abuse or other related mental health issues
- be attending a school where the program is being offered
- written consent of parent/guardian to participate in program
- adolescents 12-18 years old
