Hot and frozen meals for seniors, adults with disabilities, and ill/convalescent adults who live in the Arnprior and Braeside/Mc
Nab townships

Hot Meals on Wheels

  • fresh noon meal available for any or all weekdays
  • prepared and cooked daily
  • delivered by volunteers to the client's home
  • includes a hot main course with two side dishes, as well as soup and dessert
  • special diets and allergies can be accommodated

Frozen Meals Program

  • wide range of meal choices that can be heated in the oven or microwave
  • special dietary choices available by special order, such as diabetic-friendly meals, low-fat meals, low-salt meals, pureed meals, etc.
  • meals can be picked up at the office or delivered directly to the client's home for an additional fee
Eligibility
  • older adults aged 55 years and older

  • adult who are chronically ill

  • adults living with a disability

  • adults convalescing from surgery or illness

  • adults undergoing medical treatments (no matter the age)
