Description

Volunteer drivers transport clients to various locations, depending on the type of service requested (listed below):

Out of Town Medical

  • for those who are required to attend a medical appointment out of the area
  • no age restrictions
  • drivers using their own vehicles are compensated on a per kilometer basis

In-Town

  • for those living in Arnprior or the Township of Mc
    Nab/Braeside
  • will bring clients anywhere they need to go, such as banks, shopping, medical appointments, social events, and hair appointments

Accessible Transportation

  • accessible vehicle (called the Care Coach) for individuals in Arnprior who require specialized para-transit

Extended

  • for residents who reside outside of the town limits of Arnprior and Township of Mc
    Nab/Braeside
  • brings the client into Arnprior for all their personal needs

Non-Urgent Transportation

  • for medical appoints within or outside Arnprior
  • includes inter-facility transportation between hospitals and from hospital to home
Eligibility
Residents of the Town of Arnprior and the Township of Mc
Nab/Braeside aged 55 years or older, as well as the disabled and individuals with special needs, no matter the age
