Supportive emergency housing

  • meals, clothing, counselling, case management, and referrals available
  • Men's Hostel: main shelter for men (94 beds)
  • 2 man dorms: long-term stay (3 months) for working clients saving up for first and last month's rent (14 beds)
  • Special Care Unit for men with spiritual, emotional and physical needs (27 beds)
  • Residential Life skills: assists people in adapting their day-to-day skills (14 beds)

The main shelter operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and regular clients must check in as of 7 pm. To e xtend a stay, clients must reserve their bed between 4 pm and 6 pm daily

The other programs may have waitlists depending on volume of demand. Those attending these programs may register at any time of the day prior to the commencement of their program

Eligibility
  • Adult men 18 years and older (will accept clients at 18 but prefer those to be refered to youth's shelter and for shelter clients to be 21+)
  • Special Care Unit: shelter clients with complex health needs such as uncontrolled heart disease, HIV/Aids or diabetes
  • Locked 2-man dorms: existing shelter clients, working clients saving up for first and last month's rent
