- Provides shelter and counselling for women leaving situations of violence and supply information to anyone who needs help from any other services.
Besides temporary emergency shelter for battered women and children, the centre offers crisis intervention counseling, individual counseling, advocacy, children's services and community education.
Member of the Aboriginal Shelter of Ontario. - Eligibility
- Indigenous women 16 years and over and their children
Reserve members have first priority. Will accept members of other indigenous communities on a case by case basis. - Application Process
