Support and funding for thalassemia scientific research, treatment, patient services, public awareness and education.

NOTE: The largest centre for treatment of thalassemia patients in North America is located in Toronto. Clinic locations include Hospital for Sick Children (Hematology / Oncology Clinic) and Toronto General Hospital (Division of Hematology). Treatment is also available through Hamilton Health Sciences / McMaster University Medical Centre.
Eligibility
Treatment of thalassemia:

  • Hospital for Sick Children, Hematology / Oncology Clinic: children 17 years and younger

  • Toronto General Hospital, Division of Hematology: adults

  • McMaster University (Division of Hematology and Thromboembolism): clinical care for children and adults
