  • reduce the need for Board hearings
  • also used for conflicts between farm practices and municipal by-laws
Eligibility
Members of the Board are appointed by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and serve for 2 years; may be reappointed to a maximum of 10 years. Members include farmers from across Ontario. Chair and Vice-Chair are usually lawyers with experience in agricultural issues.
