- For summer 2023, there will be 8 weeks of children's camp. Rainbow Day camp provides an environment that embraces diversity and encourages personal growth based on each participant's uniqueness, needs, strengths, and abilities.
Programs include:- children's camp
- Leader-in-Training (LIT) program (4 programs available in 2023)
- teen camp (for teens with special needs) (3 weeks in 2023)
- volunteer program
- one-to-one support program for campers with special needs
- 3 days a week water play, weekly themes, and special events on Fridays
- Partners with Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington and other community professionals to include children and youth with special needs
- Eligibility
- Children's program: 4-11 years
Leader-in-Training programs: 10-13 years
Teen camp programs: youth 12-18 years, with special needs
Volunteer program: 14+ years
