Emergency room care * doctors, nurses, and other health professionals assess and treat life-threatening injuries or severe illness

Geriatric Emergency Management -- Specialized emergency room care and follow-up support for older adults who may need in-home supports, other medical specialists, or community services

Psychiatric Emergency Services -- Specialized emergency room care and follow-up support for intense emotional distress * team of nurse case managers, psychiatrists, and residents works with community partners to reduce return visits to the emergency room * consults mental health agencies and family doctors regarding follow-up care

Sexual Assault and Partner Abuse Care Program -- Specialized emergency room care and confidential follow-up support for people who have been abused by an intimate partner, or have experienced sexual assault
Eligibility
People who need medical care for serious illnesses and injuries, emotional distress, or sexual assault
Application Process
No referral required
* for people who have experienced sexual assault and / or abuse by a partner, ask to see the Domestic Violence Nurse
