Description
Ontario Court of Justice oversees management of the criminal justice system:
  • responsible for the conduct of prosecutions under federal and provincial statutes (including youth criminal hearings, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Act)
  • represents the Crown in criminal appeals
  • administers special programs such as Victim/Witness Assistance
