- Description
- The Employment Services Program provides the education, counselling, practical life skills and on-the-job training necessary to be resilient in the workplace. Many people have not had the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills needed to overcome the challenges life presents.
- Eligibility
- Open to individuals:
,ul>- Between the ages of 20-29
- Permanent resident of Canada
- Able to commit to the 26-week program (6 months)
- Trainees may not be enrolled or currently attending any secondary or post-secondary educational programs during the 6-month contract
- Must be fluent in written and verbal English skills (CLB 6+)
- Able to sit and stand for long periods of time depending on the work environment
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- A general understanding of Canadian currency
- Trainees must want to be here
- Open to personal and professional growth and change
- Between the ages of 20-29
