Offer a variety of part-time programs for adults who require upgrading in reading, writing, basic math and essential digital skills for employment, and further education or training.
RSW+ Adult Tutoring program:
- reading, writing and basic math up to Grade 8 level
- essential skills for work and further training
CSW Computer Skills for Work program:
- in-person, instructor-led, small group classes
- introduction to Windows, MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), file management, email, Internet, and business communications
Sheridan College ACE Academic and Career Entrance program:
- in partnership with Sheridan College
- Grade 12 College level OSSD equivalent courses in English, Math, Biology and Chemistry
- prepare for college entrance or Mature Student Test
- qualify for apprenticeship and prepare for apprenticeship testing
HSW Essential Skills for Healthcare Support Worker Employment program:
- build job-ready communication, digital and numeracy skills
- gain valuable healthcare industry knowledge - home care and long-term care sectors
- earn industry recognized certificates and build an employment portfolio
