The Place Listings web tool allows you to search for facilities by name, type or feature. Use it to locate facilities such as:
- recreation and community centres (full-service sites),
- community buildings(suburban and rural facilities),
- museums,
- galleries,
- arenas and more.
Enter a facility's name in the keyword search to quickly find its web page. Use the "feature" option to search for a place to have a picnic, play outdoor volleyball or basketball or use a computer, to name a few.
Children's Fitness Tax Credit: non-refundable federal tax credit for amounts of up to $500 on amounts paid by parents to register each child under the age of 16 to a physical activity program- Eligibility

- Financial needs assessment is required to access the Ottawa Hand in Hand program * application form available at the City of Ottawa recreation and culture facilities * bring the completed application form to a local recreation or culture facility for review * any mail should be sent to 100 Constellation Dr and addressed to the program
Children's Fitness Tax Credit * ask for a receipt from organizations providing eligible programs of physical activity in which a person under the age of 16 is enrolled - Documents Required

- Program ; Residents are encouraged to apply for the Hand in Hand Financial Support as early as possible before the registration period
* each qualifying individual, or member of a family, is eligible for an annual maximum of $165 in Fee Assistance
* applicants are encouraged to pay a minimum of 25% of the program cost
* a parent or guardian can transfer all, or a portion of their Fee Assistance entitlement to a child or children in their household
