Transportation Services - Traffic and Parking, Accessibility Parking Permit
- Description
- Program that offers downtown parking permits and free (geared to income) parking passes for persons with a disability that reside in Guelph
- passes valid for one year
- applicants must re-apply annually
- for use only at municipal downtown off-street parking facilities and on-street meters
- includes on-street meters in front of hospital
- Eligibility
- Accessibility Parking Permit:
- applicants must have permanent or temporary disability, be on limited income and be residents of Guelph
- applications must include supporting financial documents to verify income
- applicants must have a Ministry of Transportation issued Accessible Parking Permit
Parking Pass for Veterans:- All new applicants are eligible to have either Veterans Parking Pass OR Veterans Transit Pass. For information see Parking Pass for Veterans
NOTE: The Transit and Parking Pass Program for Veterans provides free access to Guelph Transit or to free parking at select lots in the City of Guelph. The program is extended to any resident of Guelph who has actively served with the Canadian forces or its allies. - Application Process
