- Arranges for congratulatory certificates signed by the Prime Minister, Governor General, or the King for people celebrating birthdays of 65 years and older and anniversaries for 25 years and up
- Marie-France Lalonde is a member of the Joint Interparliamentary Council, the Liaison Committee, and is the chair for the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs
