Halton Hills. Transportation and Public Works

Provides local public accessible transportation solutions for both persons with a disability and/or seniors age 65 or older

• eligible users must register for service prior to use


• door to door service within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Halton Hills


• trips may be booked for any purpose and as early as 7 days in advance


• bookings must be completed 24 hours prior to travel to ensure a scheduled pickup time


• support person or caregiver may accompany free of charge


• low income users may be eligible for subsidies through Halton Region SPLIT program

• Municipal boundaries of the Town of Halton Hills
• provides transfer locations at Mount Pleasant GO Station, Brampton; Lisgar GO Station, Mississauga; FirstOntario Arts Centre, Milton and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Oakville

• Seniors - completed application form must include a photocopied proof of age - birth certificate, health card, passport (may be expired)


• Persons with disabilities - completed application form must be reviewed and signed by a medical practitioner

ActiVan accessible transit service:

• Mon-Fri 8 am-7 pm, Sat 7 am-6 pm, Sun 7 am-3 pm (no service on statutory holidays)


• Booking office: Sun-Sat 7 am-8 pm


• Taxi Scrip available Mon-Sun 7 am-11 pm
