Facilitates a victim's understanding of and passage through the familly court system.
Support provided includes:

- debriefing with clients following family court appearances
- referral to specialized services and supports in the community
- safety planning
- court accompaniment to proceedings when appropriate
Schools programs
- EngageMENt 'male ally' program is a conversation-based 8-week program led by a male facilitator that guides male students through discussion around popular and sports culture, through a gender lens, and discusses what 'healthy masculinity' means, wrapping up by planning an experiential or service learning initiative (participants may receive up to 15 volunteer hours toward their Community Involvement requirement)
Mobile service which supports youth, single females and families at risk of homelessness, or episodic homelessness, to find immediate, long-term, safe and stable housing alternatives
- Emergency Supportive Housing Program for families and individual women in short-term accommodations
- Housing First services and case management for adults, youth and families
- Advocacy, referrals and community support to improve housing retention
Full-time co-ed live-in treatment program for youth
- day treatment education program for youth within the program
- highly structured environment where residents work on attaining goals set for themselves in consultation with family, therapist and primary worker in the residence
- families are an integral part of the client's time in treatment and attend weekly sessions with family therapist and live-in treatment worker
- allows youth to develop improved social, coping, and life skills
- residence staff work closely with youth, family and therapist to review goals and treatment plans on a continuous basis
- average length of stay is 3-6 months
A program that provides in-home or on-site personal support for daily living. Wellness promotion is a key component of the program. The goal is to provide support for seniors to encourage long-term, independent living in their own apartments in assisted living communities. Support can include, but is not limited to:
- personal care including showering
- dressing/undressing
- assistance with pre-measured medication
- reassurance
- safety checks
Those who qualify for personal care services may also be eligible for:
- light housekeeping
- laundry
- assistance with meal services
- 24 hour supervision services are also available
Professional services such as nursing are provided through Home and Community Care Support Services Mississauga Halton. The Support Services Coordinator for the Assisted Living Program and the Home and Community Care Support Services Care Coordinator work closely together to ensure that the seniors' needs are met. Offers a variety of care and support services to deaf children, adults and seniors with a variety of needs including:
- troubled youth
- intellectual disability and deaf plus individuals
- youth and adults with behavioural, emotional or psychiatric problems
- young offenders
- dually diagnosed individuals
Services include:
- children's and adult's group homes
- PAH Children's Mental Health Program: partnership with Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) * provide specialized children's mental health service for the deaf and hard of hearing children, youth and their families
- Assisted Living Program for Deaf Seniors age 65 and older who require personal assistance with activities of daily living
- Outreach Services: Personal Support Workers (PSW) provide in-home assistance with personal care (bathing, dressing, medications reminder), light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation
- Respite care and parent relief: provides deaf individuals with special needs who live at home the opportunity to meet new friends and become involved in new activities in a signing environment while offering parents a break from the challenges of daily care * subsidized by an Individual's Passport funding, respite options can also be purchased in Toronto or Milton during the day, overnights and weekends as well as a number of activity based camps and workshops are offered throughout the year
- Sign Language Services: Classes are offered for hearing individuals from Grade 9 and up * courses are provided in Toronto and Milton & American Sign Language (ASL) instructors are certified to teach using the Signing Naturally Curriculum
- Bob Rumball Home for the Deaf (BRHD): 64-bed home long-term care facility in Barrie provides a home-like atmosphere while supporting resident's independence, sense of belonging and dignity * services include 24-hour nursing care, physicians, physiotherapy, personal support workers (PSW) to assist with the activities of daily living * activities and programs are directed by residents * housekeeping, hairdressing services, foot care, dental and eye clinics are also available * all meals are cooked on site
